100% Garganega

The grapes come from the house's vineyard "Campo le calle" in Illasi. The "Garganega" grapes are hand-picked in mid-October. The grapes are then lightly dried in ventilated rooms for 15 – 20 days.

The grapes are then de-stemmed and gently pressed for approx. 12 hours. The must is then fermented under temperature control at 15 degrees in a steel tank for 20-25 days. The wine is now stabilized and aged before being bottled, where it is aged for another few months before being released.

The wine appears straw yellow with a tinge of pink grapefruit, tangerine and with an intense and complex aroma with fine notes of fresh fruit such as apple, peach and exotic fruits.

The taste is full and pleasant with a long aftertaste. You sense the taste of ripe and slightly dried grapes together with a good and well-balanced acidity.

The wine contains 14% alcohol. The wine goes very well with rich dishes with fish and light meat, as well as mild or medium-strong cheeses or simply as a delicious cold treat on the terrace. The wine is ready to drink when it is released, but under the right conditions can be stored for up to 6-8 years.
