Hello, My name is Enrico Guglielmi, I'm the owner of this new startup established in March 2022 focused on importing and wholesale Italian wines and spirits, we are based in the Bay Area, we plan to serve Italian wines and spirits at first the Northern California and from 2023 the entire California.

Let me give you a background of myself; I’ve worked many years in Europe for high end Michelin stars restaurants focused on gourmet Italian food and wine, I have done courses with the WSET for international wines certifications, but I always come back to my heritage, Italian wines.

Since 2018 I have been collaborating with Italian wineries as an export manager to facilitate the importing of their wines to California and other places in the world. In addition I know the American market quite well, many Italian restaurateurs and wine buyers.

The idea of opening a new import and wholesale business came up with the desire to bring a bit of freshness and younger vision to a booming market like California and the United States.

Many people I know in the Bay Area believe that I’m the best person to start an importing business thanks to my big passion for wine and my desire to pass on the knowledge to everyone who may be interested.

As these are times of changing after a couple of years of covid, the market itself is in continuous evolution, but we realized that a spot for a new business with new ideas and focused on the future was the right starting point.
