How It's Made

VINIFICATION: 100% Aglianico. Guardia Sanframondi, 250m altitude, south-west facing, clayey-limestone soil, 3000 vines/ha, Espalier-Guyot. Destemming, soft pressing; fermentation at controlled temperature 25°C in steel tanks for 20 days. 3 months in steel tanks; 3 months bottle refinement.

CHARACTERISTICS: Ruby red color, dry and enveloping on the palate with good acidity. Aromas of red berries with floral and spiced notes. Soft, warm and tannic finish. Pairs well with red meats, fresh cheeses and cured meats.
