Shipping Policy – UPS Delivery & Age‑21 Requirements

This Shipping Policy explains how we ship alcoholic beverages within California using UPS. Orders are processed only for delivery addresses located in California.

1. Shipping Area

- We currently ship alcoholic beverages only within the State of California.
- We do not ship to PO boxes, military (APO/FPO) addresses, or any address outside California. Orders with non‑California addresses will be cancelled or held until corrected.

2. Carrier and Service

- All alcohol shipments are sent via UPS using UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air, depending on your selected option.
- Every shipment of alcohol is sent with Adult Signature Required. A person aged 21 or older must be present at the delivery address to sign for the package and provide a government‑issued photo ID. 

3. Age‑21 and Adult Signature

- UPS requires an adult aged 21 or older to present a valid government‑issued photo ID and sign for the package at the time of delivery.
- If no valid adult is present or the recipient refuses delivery, the shipment may be returned or redelivered at your expense, and we may cancel the order or charge restocking/delivery fees. 

4. UPS Requirements

- Packages containing alcohol must be properly packaged, labeled, and documented in accordance with UPS rules and California law.
- We ship only to approved alcohol delivery addresses within California and rely on UPS’s alcohol‑shipping agreement and compliance rules. 

5. Delivery Times and Delays

- Standard delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weather, holidays, or other factors beyond UPS’s or our control.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by UPS or other carriers. If you have a time‑sensitive event, please allow extra shipping time.

6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

- If your package is confirmed lost or damaged by UPS, you must contact us at info@vinumitalia.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with UPS to investigate and, if applicable, may replace or refund the product.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
