How is Made

VINIFICATION:  Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes with natural fermentation and long maceration up to 40 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation and static decantation are utilized. Aged for 42 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

CHARACTERISTICS: The nose is defined by floral, delicate aromas of vanilla and rose petals, followed by weightier, comforting notes of herbs and warm earth. Cherry flavors headline the palate, but that earthy warmth lingers to create a sense of cohesion. Acid rushes past toothy, clinging tannins.
