How is Made

VINIFICATION: 100% Aglianico di Taurasi This wine is obtained from the vinification of the native Aglianico grape variety produced in the Province of Avellino in the Campania region. Aglianico is sometimes called "The Barolo of the South" due to its ability to produce highly refined and complex fine wines. After a temperature controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for at least 36 month in French oak barrels.

CHARACTERISTICS:  The wine has a marked aromatic complexity with hints of licorice and spicy notes on an elegant background that recalls red fruit. It pairs well with meat ragù, grilled steak, cold cuts and hard cheeses.
