Quartomoro "Orriu - Sulle Bucce" Vernaccia 2022
How is Made
VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested Vernaccia grapes from the Sinis area of Sardinia undergo a three-day maceration on the skins, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for at least six months in stainless steel, employing a reductive winemaking style to preserve freshness and minerality.
CHARACTERISTICS: The wine presents an intense golden yellow color with aromas of ripe fruits, including peach, quince, and candied pear, complemented by floral notes of calla lily and broom, and hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is juicy, round, and well-structured, with a savory finish. It pairs excellently with seafood, shellfish, vegetable-based dishes, and fresh cheeses.
