How is Made
VINIFICATION: Fresh and elegant expression of this extraordinary white grape variety which, thanks to the ideal habitat of Irpinia, reaches levels of absolute excellence. Vineyards are cultivated in Lapio at 550 meters above sea level on calcareous-clayey soils. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second ten days of October. After a soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments in cement vats with maceration on the skins for a couple of days. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months, it is not subject to any clarification treatment.
CHARACTERISTICS: Great complexity and aromatic richness, elegant bouquet with aromas of white flowers, hints of citrus and woody traits. The sip is deep, intense with an important acid shoulder characterized by the soil rich in minerals. Pairings Excellent wine to pair with seafood cuisine. It goes well with swordfish and grilled shellfish.
