Quartomoro Cannonau "Caor" Doc 2023
How is Made
VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested Cannonau grapes from the Dorgali hills in central Sardinia undergo fermentation in stainless steel with a 7-day maceration on the skins. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel, followed by an additional 6 months in bottle before release.
CHARACTERISTICS: The wine offers aromas of ripe red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, dried spices, and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, it is mid-weight with soft tannins and a savory, mineral finish. It pairs well with red meats, game, pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.
